What’s Under the Hood

Let’s get into the details. This thing is a 400V halogen quartz infrared lamp, packing a solid 2500W of power. That’s a lot of heat from a surprisingly small package. It’s only 300mm long, so it slips into those tight spots where bigger heaters just can’t go. Running on 400V also means it pulls less current than lower-voltage options. That makes the wiring easier and helps prevent voltage drop over longer runs. Now, 2500W is serious heat. It’s exactly what you need to keep that dog house toasty, even when it’s freezing outside. But it also means your control circuit and mounting spot have to be ready for that kind of continuous high temperature.
