No waiting around shivering. The honest truth about installation Now, I won’t lie to you—switching over takes a bit more planning. These infrared panels pack a punch, and they often need their own dedicated circuit so you don’t keep tripping your breakers. If you’re updating an old bathroom, you’ve got to check your wire gauge. You can’t just plug a 2000W panel into a circuit meant for a tiny 500W bulb. It just won’t work. But look at it this way: you spend a little more on the wiring now, and you stop replacing corroded lamps every couple of years.
